Directions to Somers High School - Sunday, May 03, 2009For Primrose School and Somers High School
From the South:
Head North on:
- Taconic Parkway to exit for Route 100/Millwood. At the end of the exit, make a left turn. When you come to the junction of Route 100, make a right turn; or
- Hutchinson River Parkway or Saw Mill River Parkway to Route 684 North. Get off at Exit 6 (Katonah/ Cross River/Route 35). At light at end of exit, make a left turn onto Route 35. At the 5th traffic light, make a right turn onto Route 100.
Travel approximately 1/2 mile north on Route 100. Then make a left turn onto Route 139 (LeFontane Ristorante is on the right corner of Route 139 and Route 100). After approximately 2 miles, the entrance to Primrose Elementary School and the District Offices are on the right side of the road. Somers High School is the next driveway after Primrose.
From the North:
Taconic Parkway South to Route 84 East to Route 684 South to White Plains. Get off at Exit 6 (Katonah/Cross River/Route 35). At the traffic light make a right turn onto Route 35. At the 4th traffic light make a right turn onto Route 100.
Directions to Chappaqua - Wednesday, January 16, 2008From the North : I-684 to exit 5 "Saw Mill Parkway," proceed to exit 32 (Route 120 Chappaqua). At end of exit, turn right at Stop sign, at next Stop sign proceed straight. At the next Stop sign, turn right. At traffic light, turn right. Bear right at fork. Town Hall is on the right directly after the fields.
From the South : Take Saw Mill Parkway to exit 32 (Route 120 Chappaqua). At end of exit, turn left at Stop sign. At traffic light, turn left. Bear right at fork. Town Hall is on the right directly after the fields.

The Westchester Putnam Baseball Association provides travel players with a comprehensive career, from the age of 9 and up, and towns with an organized and highly competitive travel baseball and softball program for the summer and fall seasons.

The WPBA is a premier all-star baseball and softball organization, made up of approximately 50 different New York & Connecticut towns located in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess & Fairfield Counties. The WPBA serves over 450 baseball teams, 125 softball teams, and 5,000 players.

Summer Meeting Reminder Updated - Saturday, April 25, 2009MANDATORY SUMMER MEETING
Friday May 8th 7:00 pm Somers High School
The meeting will start promptly at 7:00 p.m.. Each team representative must be present with a $200.00 team fee as well as a separate check for a $300.00 forfeit fee. Each town must provide a certificate of insurance. Each check MUST include an account for monies paid (example: How many teams are being paid for, and what division said teams will play in.) Insurance certificates must clearly identify town as well (town name may be written on top or highlighted.)

WPBA 2008 10U SOFTBALL RULES - Wednesday, January 16, 2008WPBA 2009 10U SOFTBALL RULES
1.Infield fly rule is in effect. 2. Catcher need not throw on dropped third strike. 3. Stealing all bases is permitted. (1st, 2nd, 3rd and home). 4. Only one base on a steal per pitch. 5. No advancing on an overthrow when stealing. 6. The pitcher shall pitch from 35 ft. 7. Double 1st base bag is mandatory. 8. All helmets must have a face mask and chin straps. 9. Fielders are permitted to wear game face masks. 10. Bunting is permitted. 11. Four outfielders. 12. Stealing on a walk is permitted. 13. Flex player is permitted. 14. 11" yellow ball is mandatory. 375lb .47cor 15. Home team must supply game balls and ASA Certified umpires. (Umpires with NO patch are NO good). ****NEW RULE ****
